Community information site

Urban Garden Atlas shares informational community examples of small urban food, herb, flower, and ornamental gardens. It does not provide professional gardening, structural, building, legal, HOA, landlord, fire, balcony load, roof load, drainage, or safety advice.

Your submissions

You are responsible for content you submit. You must own or have permission to share any photos, stories, names, and details. Do not include private information that should not be public.

You keep ownership of the photos, stories, and information you submit. By submitting content, you give Urban Garden Atlas permission to review, moderate, edit for privacy/safety/clarity, translate, publish, display, promote, and share approved content as part of the site and related Urban Garden Atlas channels.

No guarantee of publication

Submissions may stay pending, be edited for privacy, safety, clarity, formatting, or moderation, rejected, removed, or unpublished at any time. Publication is not guaranteed.

Rules and prohibited content

Do not submit cannabis, marijuana, controlled substances, or regulated plant-growing instructions. Do not submit illegal content, unsafe balcony/roof/structural advice, children’s faces, exact addresses, license plates, private documents, spam or ads, hateful or harassing content, photos of people who did not consent, or content that violates local law, lease rules, HOA rules, building rules, or safety codes.

Local rules and safety

You are responsible for following local laws, lease rules, HOA rules, building rules, fire codes, balcony and roof load limits, and water or drainage rules before planting or sharing any project.

Removal and correction requests

You may request removal or correction of a submission by emailing admin@urbangardenatlas.com. We may need enough information to identify the submission.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, Urban Garden Atlas disclaims warranties and is not liable for decisions, damages, injuries, property issues, disputes, or losses connected to use of the site or garden projects inspired by it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows or our policies change.

Moderated garden questions

Garden owners may opt in to receive moderated visitor questions. Questions are reviewed before they are sent to an owner or published. Owner answers are reviewed before publication. We may edit questions and answers for privacy, safety, clarity, formatting, and moderation. Private asker and owner emails are not shown publicly. Inappropriate questions may be rejected, abusive emails may be blocked, and published Q&A becomes part of the public site. You can request removal or correction at admin@urbangardenatlas.com.

Age rule

Urban Garden Atlas is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are under 13. If you are under 18, use the site only with permission from a parent or guardian.
